Rates/Fees

1. WorkSafeNB may reimburse injured workers to help offset additional child/dependant care expenses incurred when travelling for claim-related purposes. 

2. The following maximums apply per child/dependant:

• Part day - $26.30 (up to 4 hours )
• Full day - $35.00 (more than 4 hours )
• Overnight - $24.00
• 24 hour care - $59.00.

Generally, overnight is considered a 12 hour period beginning in the evening and extending into the next morning (e.g. 8 pm to 8 am ). 

3. WorkSafeNB requires receipts to provide reimbursement.
