Santa:
Please stay safe and healthy this
season!
Santa has a
demanding job, with millions of children across
the globe counting on him. But Santa’s job can
also be a dangerous one. Working at heights,
travelling in cold and icy conditions, working in
workshops with fumes and noise, and riding in a
high-speed sled – these tasks pose risks. Santa
has a lot to think about to keep himself and his
elves safe, and WorkSafeNB has some recommendations
to help. If you have more safety tips for Santa,
Tweet them using #SafeSantaNB. We’ll pass them on.

DID YOU KNOW
?
Flu
season is upon us. The best way to prevent the
flu is to get the influenza vaccine. Other ways
to help protect yourself and others include
frequent hand
washing: keeping your hands away from
your eyes, nose and mouth; exercising regularly;
getting enough sleep and eating healthy. For
more information on the flu in New Brunswick,
visit the provincial government’s website.
