the College of Family Physicians of Canada for the
prescription of medical marijuana. Policy 25-015

Purposes offers guidelines for prescribing,
monitoring and administering medical marijuana.

New
2015 WHMIS presentation now available
online
In February 2015,
the Canadian government adjusted the WHMIS 1988
guidelines to include the Globally Harmonized
System of Classification and Labelling of
Chemicals (GHS) for workplace chemicals, removing
the need to include the Controlled Products
Regulations (CPR) and the Ingredient Disclosure
List. Our new WHMIS presentation reflects these
changes and is now available online. We recommend
employers update their files and links to this new
presentation and become familiar with it. More
