Executive Director, Corporate Communications
As executive director, Laragh is responsible for WorkSafeNB’s overall communications strategy, including public relations, government relations, web presence and social media, and most importantly, working with employees and all stakeholders as partners in improving occupational health, safety, and wellness.
Laragh joined WorkSafeNB in 2007 and has developed a strong understanding of all aspects of the corporation through her years in Communications and Policy. She holds a degree in journalism from Carleton University and has continued to advance her education by obtaining several certificates in leadership and project management from the University of Ottawa and Harvard Extension School.
Laragh has had her hand in influencing policy decisions, organizing one of the largest conferences east of Montreal, and leading award-winning internal and external stakeholder engagement projects.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, Laragh enjoys spending time with her partner and child and exploring New Brunswick’s rivers by boat.
