Sadly, last year, 14 lives were lost in New Brunswick due to workplace incidents. Each incident is a stark reminder that we all play a crucial role in creating safe workplaces.
Our goal is to make New Brunswick the safest place to work.
WorkSafeNB encourages both employers and employees to show their support on Monday, April 28. Take a moment of silence and, if possible, lower flags to half-mast. On this Day of Mourning, let's pay our respects to those we've lost and renew our commitment to ensuring that every worker returns home safely to their loved ones every day.

Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. River Front Park (Ledden Street) on the north shore of the Miramichi River.
Moncton & District Labour Council, NB
Monday, April 28 at 12 p.m. Cenotaph in Bore Park.
Restigouche & District Labour Council
Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. Location starts at the Dalhousie lions club where we will walk to Rotary Park, 2 min walk where there will be a service, after the service we will walk back to the Lions Hall where there will be coffee and tea available.
