WorkSafeNB is pleased to announce that Hector Losier, Lucien Sonier and James Stanley have been reappointed to the Board of Directors for a three-year term.
Hector Losier was first appointed to WorkSafeNB’s board of directors as a worker representative in June 2011. He was reappointed in 2015. Hector has been a long-time labour activist who currently serves as executive secretary and treasurer for the New Brunswick Regional Council of Carpenters, Millwrights and Allied Workers.
Lucien Sonier was appointed to the board as an employer representative in July 2015. Sonier was the chief administrative officer of the Town of Caraquet for nearly 30 years, retiring in 2008. Sonier has served and continues to serve as a member for many community organizations.
James Stanley was appointed to the board as a worker representative in July 2015. Stanley, a lawyer specializing in labour law, has more than 40 years of experience defending the interests of workers.
Their knowledge and experience have proven to be great assets in propelling WorkSafeNB forward and we look forward to their continued guidance in the three years to come.
