National Take Our Kids to Work Day is Wednesday, November 14th. The program invites Grade 9 students from across Canada to accompany a parent or other trusted adult in a workplace setting.
WorkSafeNB is reminding employers to ensure safety is part of the program.
“All students should start the day with a safety orientation,” says Tim Petersen, WorkSafeNB’s vice-president of prevention.
“Ensure they understand and follow all safety requirements. Use the day to showcase the importance of safety and need for mindfulness and preparation,” he added.
