WorkSafeNB and the RCMP are investigating a workplace incident near Caraquet, New Brunswick, on October 27 that took the life of a heavy equipment operator.
The worker died at approximately 2:15 p.m. after heavy equipment rolled over and fell into water at the bottom of a gravel pit. The operator was trapped beneath the water.
The deceased was part of a crew working on a Highway 11 construction project.
