WHSCC RECOGNIZES THE NBCSA AT ANNUAL HEALTH AND SAFETY CONFERENCE

Saint John: The Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (WHSCC) of New Brunswick was pleased to recognize the New Brunswick Construction Safety Association (NBCSA) at the Commission’s 25th annual Health and Safety Conference.

“The NBCSA has made a major commitment to providing health and safety training to its members,” says Douglas Stanley,

President and CEO of the WHSCC. “They’ve become a high-profile training provider in an industry that needs a strong voice for safety.”

Each year since it’s inception in 2001, the NBCSA has agressively increased the number of training courses they’ve been able to provide.

“We are very pleased to be able to recognize the NBCSA for granting its ten-thousandth training passport,” Stanley says. “It’s an impressive milestone for the organization and for the industry. We offer our congratulations to both the NBCSA and the participants who have attended their training programs over the years.”

Representatives from the NBCSA were present to receive a recognition plaque at the WHSCC Awards Breakfast, held on

Tuesday October 25th, in conjunction with the 25th annual Health and Safety Conference program.
