Leonardo Duarte of École Carrefour Beausoleil in Miramichi provides a guide to safety at work and personal protective equipment in his winning video titled “Be Safe”.
WorkSafeNB’s 2020 Focus on Safety Youth Video contest engaged New Brunswick high school students to create a two-minute video that showcased how they focus on safety.
Leonardo Duarte of École Carrefour Beausoleil in Miramichi, in his winning video titled “Be Safe,” provided important information on three types of personal protective equipment and a guide to safety at work.

Camie Coulombe of École Mathieu Martin in Dieppe.
The first-place winner received $1,000, with a matching prize going to his school; the second-place winner received $750, with a matching prize going to her school.
Leonardo Duarte’s video will be entered in the national contest hosted by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety.
