It is the responsibility of health care providers to:
- Submit quality and timely clinical reports.
- Recognize the importance of the principle of early and safe
return to work for injured workers to their overall well
- Be aware of their role in assisting patients and their
employers in a safe and early return to work and stay at work, as
outlined in the Canadian Medical Association's policy and adopted
by the New Brunswick Medical Society.
- Work co-operatively with WorkSafeNB staff to ensure that
injured workers receive appropriate treatment.
